SportsOffice Privacy Policy
SportsOffice is a service used by children's sports organizations to run programs. As such, we seek to provide a highly useful and safe service. We shall not rent or sell any user's individual personal information to any third party. We shall strive to safeguard the online privacy of our users, especially children's privacy.SportsOffice may modify its privacy policy in order to do a better job and may make other additions or changes that it determines to be appropriate. This policy applies only to companies and persons that SportsOffice can reasonably control as to privacy policy.
What information is collected?
Through SportsOffice, organizations will not collect personal information about you unless you provide it voluntarily and knowingly, and you are provided an opportunity to later "opt out". If you "opt-out", you may not be able to partake in the services organizations offer through SportsOffice. If you do not want your personal information collected, please DO NOT submit it.The extent of information collected depends on the extent to which an organization uses our services. "JV" service is free to organizations and does not require ANY personal information from you, unless you are an Administrator; in this case, just your name and email address are necessary. If an organization pays us for "Varsity" services, including online registration and sophisticated communication tools, the organization will require you to "Create a New Account" and submit extensive personal information, necessary to perform our services.
How do we use it?
Your organization uses SportsOffice to collect personal information from you in order to enhance your online experience and deliver certain services. You can personalize certain pages and be granted access to certain pages based on the information you provide to SportsOffice and your login credentials.Do we disclose it?
We only share your information with third parties under these limited circumstances:- The third party is a league or organization with which you are affiliated and with which SportsOffice has an agreement that all information is kept confidential;
- We have your explicit consent to share the information;
- We need to share your information to provide the product or service you or your organization have requested or to allow you to participate in certain site activities. In such cases, unless we tell you differently, these third parties do not have any right to use your information beyond what is necessary to provide the product or service for which they are using our tools. Moreover, they are contractually bound to keep all such information confidential;
- We are required to by law.
Access
If an organization uses "Varsity" services, their users may only access certain areas of the site or use certain features if they have established an account and obtained a user name and password. When you set up your account, you will be required to submit your first and last name, and a good deal of personal information in order for our services to operate correctly. SportsOffice uses the information submitted to personalize your experience and ensure proper access.Broadcasting
If you are authorized to use the broadcasting features on this site, you and many others will have provided us with personal information before using the feature. The information that is collected supports the operation of the broadcasting service. SportsOffice does not sell this information to direct marketers or any other third parties. Nor do we distribute information to any third parties except to those partners that SportsOffice uses to relay or deliver messages to your intended recipients.Cookies
